Information for Coaches
The OVSL is affiliated with Ohio South (OSYSA) and we must
abide by their rules. One of their rules is
that each coach fill out a Risk Management Form. Here is the
general information regarding risk management taken directly
from Ohio Souths web site (http://www.osysa.com/). For more
information, please visit them.
The Ohio South Risk Management (now called "Kidsafe") e-system allows administrators, coaches and
volunteers to complete an a Risk Management form and receive a certificate indicating you have
supplied the necessary information to be in compliance with the OSYSA KidSafe program. This
certificate can then be provided to your leagues, clubs, referee instructors, etc., who collect
the forms indicating you have submitted the data required by the program.
OPTION 1: PREFERRED OPTION!!
Complete a Kidsafe/Risk Management Clearance Form...
Make sure you print a copy, sign it and give it to Heather Sloan. She is the OVSL Risk Coordinator and is
keeping track of who has completed this requirement.
Option 2:
Fingerprint Background Check

Option 3:
Print the Kidsafe Form and Return to the OSYSA Office
